En un circuito en paralelo, los voltajes son iguales en cada una de los resistores.
Las corrientes son diferentes.
Por esta razón hay que hallar primero la RT, para después con la Ecuación de Divisor de Corriente, hallar la corriente en cada una de los resistores.
